Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026. This Policy explains how Omnidam handles your information when you use our website and workspace. It should be read with our Terms of Service. It is not legal advice.
1. Scope
This Policy applies when you visit omnidamchat.com (and related domains), create an account, use guest chat, subscribe to a paid plan, or contact support. Omnidam is operated as an individual-use product; we do not offer enterprise DPAs or team deployments.
Omnidam routes your prompts and attachments to third-party AI providers. Your data may therefore be processed by more than one company. The sections below explain what we collect, what we share, and what we do not do with your data.
2. Core commitments
- No AI training: We do not use your chats, files, or prompts to train or fine-tune AI models.
- No data sales: We do not sell your personal information.
- Minimal sharing: We share data only with service providers needed to run Omnidam (hosting, auth, payments, AI inference).
- Your control: Signed-in users can delete chats, export data where available, and permanently delete their account from Settings.
3. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Omnidam, we may process:
- Account data: Email address, display name (if provided), authentication identifiers, plan tier, and account timestamps.
- Workspace data: Chats, messages, living notes, groups, and files you save while signed in.
- Usage data: Feature usage needed to enforce plan limits and keep the service reliable (for example message counts and model selections).
- Billing data: Subscription status, invoices, and Stripe customer identifiers. Card numbers are handled by Stripe — Omnidam does not store full payment card details.
- Technical data: Browser type, device information, IP address, and server logs used for security and debugging.
- Support data: Information you send when contacting us through Support or email.
4. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Omnidam workspace.
- Authenticate you and secure your account.
- Route prompts and attachments to the AI models you select.
- Process subscriptions and send billing-related communications.
- Enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- Respond to support requests.
We do not use your workspace content for advertising or sell it to data brokers.
5. No use of your data for AI training
Omnidam uses commercial API endpoints from OpenAI and Google Gemini. Under our commercial agreements, your submitted prompts, documents, workspace data, and AI-generated responses are not used by Omnidam, OpenAI, or Google to train or improve future artificial intelligence models.
Provider retention for abuse monitoring or legal compliance may still apply for a limited period under their policies. Review each provider's privacy documentation for details.
6. Third-party AI providers
To generate responses, Omnidam transmits your prompts and relevant attachments to the provider for the model you choose. Transmission uses encrypted connections. Omnidam is not OpenAI or Google — each provider processes data under its own terms.
Review the policy for the model you use:
- Google Gemini Apps Privacy Hub (Gemini)
- OpenAI Privacy Policy (ChatGPT / OpenAI)
Sign-in through Google OAuth is separate from model API access and is used only for authentication.
7. What Omnidam stores
- Signed-in users: Chats, messages, workspace settings, living notes, and uploaded files you save are stored in your Omnidam workspace so you can return to them later.
- Guests: Conversations are not saved to the Omnidam database. Messages are still sent to the AI provider you select for that session to generate a reply.
- Artifacts: Uploaded files are stored using content-addressable storage; duplicate file contents may be deduplicated by hash.
8. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. For Free plan users, we may delete account data and uploaded files after 12 consecutive months of inactivity, with email notice about 30 days beforehand when possible.
Plus and Pro data is not deleted for inactivity while the subscription remains active. When you delete your account, we remove associated chats and stored files from our systems, subject to limited backup and legal retention requirements.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and hosted infrastructure from reputable providers. No online service is perfectly secure. See our Security page for more detail on authentication and infrastructure.
If you discover a security issue, contact us at omnidam@gmail.com before public disclosure.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can delete saved content and your account from Settings. For provider-specific rights (access, deletion, opt-outs), use the provider links above.
To exercise rights relating to Omnidam-held data, contact us through Support or omnidam@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
11. Sensitive data
Do not submit sensitive personal information — including health data, government IDs, financial account details, or confidential business secrets — unless you understand and accept how the selected provider may process it.
Omnidam is not designed for regulated workloads requiring a custom Data Processing Agreement or organizational deployment.
12. Children
Omnidam is not intended for anyone under 18 (or the age of legal majority where they live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the account.
13. International transfers
Omnidam and our subprocessors (including Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, and Google) may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for cross-border transfers.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
